Wedding season is upon us and although we may not be the bride going through a multitude of fittings and alterations, it can still be stressful finding the perfect wedding guest attire! Right? Spring and Summer weddings are my favorite and there are an endless amount of options when it comes to attending as a guest. 1. Cocktail Dress
When in doubt, a cocktail dress is a fool proof way to go for any wedding. One has the option to go in a variety of directions, depending on personal tastes. For instance, if you are feeling something more classic and timeless, a minimal LBD is always stunning on every single body type. Pair with some flashy jewelry and killer heels and I’d say you have a complete wedding guest look!
On the other hand, you could always opt for something more trendy by going for a cocktail dress in a bright color, intricate pattern or with unique embellishments. The dress I’m wearing today is a perfect example of something trendy but appropriate. It’s dressy, flirty, and fun.
Summer is the best time to try something new! Don’t be afraid to experiment – just try and stay away from the white!

2. Summer Suit
If you want to go another route, a summer suit is a surefire way to be one of the chicest guests on the list. In this case, you could decide to stick to the classics because you really can’t go wrong with a tux in black, grey, or some other neutral.
Yet, I always say the bolder, the better. Consider vamping up the suit by going for one in a summer shade. To this day, one of my favorite suits was a gorgeous, bright yellow or red. And I don’t even stop there! I’ll happily pair it with bright pointed toe heels to complete the entire look. Another great option that is equally as trendy this season, is a linen alternative which is ideal for when the ceremony or reception is taking place outdoors.

3. Coordinating Sets
If you are looking for something easy, coordinating sets practically do the job for you! Evidently, two matching pieces, whether it be the same pattern or color, will automatically look incredible when worn together. A top and a matching skirt or trouser would be optimal for a summer wedding. Plus, in the future you can have fun mixing and matching with other items in your closet!

Weddings make me so incredibly happy. There is nothing quite like a celebration of eternal love. So in the end, don’t stress too much about what you wear because no matter what, it will be a lovely occasion!
