If you’re anything like me, that means your work is done on the go even through the holidays. I can’t stress enough how chaotic traveling has been these last two months with Thanksgiving just ending and now Christmas (and New Years) beginning. Holiday travels can be quite a drag, but I’ve figured out a couple of ways to make the process easier and more seamless with Uber.

You may have remembered from my Instagram a few weeks ago that I landed in Chicago for 24 hours to knock out some shoots before Christmas. I just have to say that traveling alongside the holiday crowd feels like a hysteria these days. Add in delayed flights and bad weather and you just end up with a vicious bunch. As a result, I know how inconvenient it can be to hassle friends and family to pick me up after landing around December because you can’t really predict those delays or what traffic will be like in the city. Plus, it always seems to take more effort than necessary. So, I always just know now, that uberX is my best option.
After landing from my Chicago trip, I’m sure it’s obvious that all I wanted to do was go home and see my girls. I scheduled a ride with Uber as soon as I landed and it was all such a breeze from there! The ability to schedule a ride these days is the best Christmas present to me ever, especially for holiday travels. I can skip the lines, avoid the fighting crowd, and kick my feet back after a short exhausting trip.
Scheduling a ride has a been a huge game changer these days and I can’t urge you guys enough to try it during your next holiday travels. And with Uber offering gift cards now, I just know this will make a wonderful last minute Christmas gift for all your working girls on the go. My job as a blogger means I have several friends in a similar line of work, so you can probably guess what I’m gifting them this year!
Thanks to Uber for sponsoring this post and for making traveling around the holidays so much easier.
