Versatile Bag
Choosing the right handbag to tote along to Coachella is also paramount. Personally, I would refrain from bringing anything too valuable just in case anything happens. Crossbody bags, fanny packs, or backpacks would be a great options because they allow you to easily jump to and fro. Portable Phone Charger
Do not, I repeat do not, rely on your phone battery lasting all day! You will be at the festival for the majority of the day and if you want to post photos and stories (and more importantly stay in contact with your friends in case you get lost), you will need a portable phone charger or extra battery with you. The more charges it allows, the better!

Tissue and Wipes
Lastly, this is the one thing that can easily slip the mind. I highly suggest bringing your own supply of tissues with you to Coachella. Finding a vacant porta potty is already too much of struggle. Nevertheless, finding one with an ample supply of toilet paper. Bringing your own stash (even if it’s just a few sheets) will definitely save you in the long run! I also recommend these life changing antibacterial hand wipes! They’re packaged and ready to go so you can just toss them inside the purse.

Sunscreen
I cannot stress this necessity item enough, especially if your skin is susceptible to burns! Sunscreen is a no brainer, especially since you know you will be spending countless hours in the desert with the sun beating down on you. What makes SoCal’s heat unique is that you’ll burn before you know it. It’s not going to get you sweaty and nasty like the East Coast’s humidity. Perhaps you can coordinate with your friends and designate one person to carry a tube for everyone to share.

Face Masks & Mists
Expect tons of dirt flying around in the air and into your face. If you’re not great about keeping covered with a bandana or light scarf, make sure you have deep cleaning face masks that will draw out all those impurities after a long night. Face mists are also great midday refreshers when it gets dead hot!

I can hardly believe the festival is already approaching but I’m excited to see what lies ahead. Although, Beyonce headlining last year was surreal, I have no doubt Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, Childish Gambino, and all the other performers will do an amazing job!
