The one I’ve been loving and wearing nonstop is the Nike Epic React sneaker. Not only do I love them for my daily walk/jog, but I have no problem styling them with anything else in my wardrobe. It’s available in several different colors, but I went with the light minty option because I like a cleaner look. The flexible sole is so soothing and the sleek design makes it so easy for mixing into my outfits. And seeing how trendy sneakers are right now, I have more reason to wear them on the regular. However, I know many of you fashionistas out there still cringe at the thought of wearing them with your most stylish ensembles, so I wanted to show you how easy it is to take your sneakers from day to night.

Pair with trousers…
To make sneakers work during the day, pair them with cropped trousers so that it looks intentional – like you wanted them on display. I wore my Nike Epic Reacts with bright pink pants for a high-contrast effect and to make them pop. This is key because you want it to be obvious that you’re not trying to sneak them in. As you can tell, I kept the rest of my look simple and clean with a plain knit and structured bag so that I don’t take away too much of the cool, casual vibe.
Pair with jeans…
Everyone has a pair of jeans in their closet – and this is by far the easiest way to rock your sneakers during the day. Lately, my go-to denim has been a relaxed fit with a slight crop. Add a relaxed tee and a trench coat with your sneakers and you have a classic model-off-duty look.

One pieces like a jumpsuit, romper or shirt dress have the tendency to lean on the dressy side. Pairing them with sneakers is a great way to rock them during the day. The casual vibe of the shoes is perfect for playing down the pretty details often found on one pieces.

Long slinky, sexy dresses and sneakers make the ultimate evening ensemble. If you’re going with a darker or bold-colored dress, like I did, lighter sneakers bring out a stunning contrast. This is where the sleek design of the Nike Epic Reacts come into play – it blends right into the dress.
I dressed this look up even more with bold jewelry and a pearl handle bag. The silky texture of the dress and glamorous accessories combined only helped play up the casual shoes – not down.

For me, outfit combinations that are unexpected often come out to be the best. There’s something about a wrap skirt that feels sophisticated and chic, so it works for the evening with sneakers. When donning a wrap skirt, look for metallic textures, pleats, and ruffle details for that froufrou effect. Then, add dark tones like an edgy moto jacket help the look feel more like evening wear.

A comfy pair of sneakers can easily take away from an evening outfit, but not if you amp up the accessories. If you’re wearing lots of metallics – think layered necklaces, statement earrings, or a silver bag – you take the focus off your sneakers. Embellished dresses or jackets also help! It’s a perfect tactic for when you’re feet are killing you, but your presence for an evening out is still essential.
