Just as I did last season, I managed to compile my favorite outfits, shows, and trends into one master post for you. Hope you enjoy my New York Fashion Week Spring 2019 recap!

Day 1
Drome Gold Jacket (Similar & Affordable) | Tom Ford Dress Similar (Affordable) | Gianvito Rossi Heels | Tom Ford Handbag | Dannijo Earrings
To kick it off, we headed over to the navy yard for the Lafayette 148 Presentation which was stunning! I loved their story of soft silhouettes and neutral color stories. From there, we jetted off to Rachel Comey where her collection was a dream – loads of color and interesting patterns integrated with mixed materials.
I ended the day with Tom Ford and couldn’t have been more impressed. He does an amazing job of creating a centralized theme within his collection and this season. This time, he featured an array of androgynous tailoring, which means you can expect to see the power suit redone in new, refreshing ideations.
To reflect the moodiness and dark hues I knew would take place at the Tom Ford show, I wore this equally dark satin mini dress. The straps were comprised of edgy metal chain, which was actually present within his collection. And of course I had to lighten it up with a gold metallic coat.

Day 2
Noon by Noor was all about soft, ethereal looks with reliance on lightweight, flowy fabrications. Their looks were relatively neutral but with pops of color stories, namely honey gold and coral. On Day 2, I also attended Elie Tahari and Ulla Johnson – both insanely gorgeous collections.
As for my outfit, I also kept it fairly feminine with a silky yellow dress and some statement kitten heels. However, you know I had to toughen it up with a juxtaposing cropped jacket with these amazing feathery sleeves that definitely stole the show!

Day 3
Louis Vuitton Trench Coat Similar | Lavender Turtleneck Similar | Joseph Trousers | Amina Muaddi Heels | Yuzefi Bag | Earrings Similar
On the third day of NYFW, I made a stop to see the Nanushka Presentation and the Brock Collection show – both equally impressive and full of strong looks highlight femininity. From there, I jetted off to be dazzled by Kate Spade and Jason Wu Collection. This collection of evening wear was so stunning and loved the use of hand cut ruffles throughout each piece.
I broke out my Louis Vuitton trench coat for Day 3 which was a complete look in itself with the repeating monogram and black piping. I felt the urge to jazz it up even further with a soft lilac turtleneck and camel leather pants, complete with my holographic heels and bucket bag in hand. This outfit was all about allowing different trends to work together in harmony.

Fun fact, my birthday actually falls right at the start of fashion week, so I rarely get to celebrate these days. This was a rare occasion when I snuck out and ate sushi at my favorite spot with Dan!

Day 4
After a few days, the exhaustion really starts taking a toll but you have to push on! Day 4 involved Cinq à Sept, Adeam, and Jonathan Simkhai early in the day.
As far as my outfit goes, I think you guys can probably guess that I’m growing a strong inclination for vintage pieces. What Goes Around Comes Around NYC continues to be a source of great finds. I’m so obsessed with this coat! To brighten up the moody color palette, I layered in some green pieces to that fashion week ensemble effect.

On Day 5, Rebecca Minkoff’s runway collection celebrated women via fun cuts and bold prints. Tibi’s entire show was a work of art and I loved the presence of cool tones. We ended with Prabal Gurung which was so unique and oddly enough, filled me with wanderlust.

Later, I pulled out the big guns in my Lisou Margaux Coat – a bright orange dream made from Mongolian lambswool. This was the statement piece of my whole outfit but I made sure to accessorize it with a trendy hairpin and contrasting emerald green bag.

At this point, I was both eagerly looking forward to diving into bed but also sad the week was coming to an end. Alas, I headed off to 3.1 Phillip Lim where his collection was focused on timeless pieces that can live on in your wardrobe for years to come!

Andreeva Coat (Similar) | Anna Sui Dress Similar | Amina Muaddi Heels | Chanel Earrings | Mark Cross Bag Similar
Anna Sui was later in the day – and unlike any other. Outfits were heavily influenced by 60’s silhouettes but redone in sparkling textiles – plus, the models looked killer in their colorful wigs. I dressed to the occasion for the Anna Sui show in my own grunge, fairytale-esque outfit. I wore a beautifully printed dress with an even louder printed coat overtop. Both are such statement pieces, but they totally compliment each other when styled together.

NYFW for me concluded with Gabriela Hearst and Sally LaPointe. What I truly appreciate about Gabriela Hearst is the brand’s focus on eco-friendly fashion. The sharply cut coats and strong tailoring are definitely on my radar for fall. As for Sally LaPointe, I’m constantly intrigued by her exotic yet glamorous designs. The inclusion of lavender and sea foam green colors were pure stunning.
