I‘m sure you’ve all heard of the cult fragrance brand Le Labo by now. I have been a long time fan like many of us are and was so honored to have been invited to experience Monte Carlo with Fairmont x Le Labo. I also got to see the annual Centifolia Rose harvest in Grasse on an exclusive trip. Today, I’ll be taking you through a recap of each day of my trip to Monte Carlo and Grasse.…

Day 1: Check in
The trip kicked off with checking in at the ultra amazing Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel in Monaco, a tiny country right off of France’s Mediterranean coastline. Fairmont did not fall short of beautiful, sea-sweeping views of Monte Carlo – and gave me full reinforcement of what I imagined Monaco to be – beautiful city on the water with rows of dreamy yachts, the iconic Formula One Grand Prix, and fancy casinos. Fun fact, the Monaco Grand Prix runs through The Fairmont Hairpin, which I’m sure has racing fans raving! I saw the view myself and was apalled at how close and personal it was.
The hotel first partnered with Le Labo in 2011 to launch an in-room amenity line featuring Rose 31. And upon checking in, I was enticed to try the lightly fragranced toiletries, which I instantly fell in love with. I can see why it’s loved by many – the warm summery scent rings up nostalgic emotions and memories.
I was then treated to a facial or massage of my choice, and I went with the latter since I had gone between the states, Asia, and Europe at that point – and needed all the relaxation I could get. The aromas of chamomile and sandalwood during the deep massage still linger on my mind because I had not felt that great in a long time.

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the evening not to mention the insane pool and rooftop terrace! I spent a lot of time up here for the surreal view and relaxing setting! There are also plenty of other luxe amenities that guests love such as the casino, spa, and fitness center. Fairmont Monte Carlo also has amazing onsite dining options like Nobu! You guys know how much I love sushi and Nobu puts a South American spin on traditional Japanese cuisine – really unique and delicious flavors!
I was beyond impressed with the kind and timely service of everything from ordering a drink to a full-fledged meal. The luxe hospitality is deeply felt and truly unrivaled here. I couldn’t thank Fairmont enough for making my trip such a memorable experience.
Day 2: Le Labo Rose Fields in Grasse
The next morning started with a helicopter ride to Grasse, also known as perfume capital of the world for its fields of flowers. Although the fields have declined dramatically through the years, the Rosa Centifolia remains a staple for Le Labo.Note that this isn’t just any ordinary flower – it’s the world’s rarest rose – and the primary ingredient in the signature Rose 31 scent. One step into Le Labo’s rose fields and you’ll find yourself enchanted by the beautiful scent. I was able to graze the fields, feel the roses, and visit the factory to get the low down on the fragrance process. I have to say it’s truly a labor of love and work of art!
One of the most precious moments of Day 2 was the delicious and satisfying lunch in the rose fields with a gang of talented and inspiring fellow influencers.

Day 3: Workshop
My final day with Fairmont x Le Labo was much like a fun workshop. The other girls and I were invited to concoct our own floral designs through garlands, crowns, bracelets, center pieces, and even lip balms crafted of rose and honey. I know now that I’m not the crafty type but it was such a fun one-of-a-kind experience nonetheless.
