I can’t complain –I just got back from two shoots/mini-vacations. One in the glitzy desert landscape of Las Vegas, Nevada. The other in the cobblestoned splendor of Basel, Switzerland. Both totally different climates that require totally different looks, making this vacation get-ups round up one that I think you’ll find fun if you’re a globetrotter too! When thinking about your next trip, consider layering or pairing these outfits with other pieces or accessory to give them an entirely new vibe. Pack light, but pack smart. You don’t want to lug around unnecessary items when the goal of your vacation is sweet relaxation.

Who says you can’t mix textures doesn’t know how to do it right. It’s like mixing patterns. With a discerning eye, it can be done. Sometimes it’s the little golden number that gets the job done. With all the sun that shines down on the desert sands, I thought a goldenrod fitted dress would be perfect. It has a small mock turtleneck that adds a subtle detail. To finish off the look, I went for extra strappy heels. The rope ties add an organic feel. Super simple, but super stylish.

Despite what people might think, much of Europe can be rather grayish in weather during the spring. So I figured, why not match the weather and went all in for grey. The floppy hat protects me from rain showers, the sunglasses in grey mirror, a furry grey vest, plus over the knee-high heeled suede boots and I’m feeling this overcast day like never before. To break the monotony of grey, I added a white top and purse and distressed black denim. Viola.
