After a long, cold winter, it’s officially spring but not quite in NYC. We’re predicting possible snow showers while most of you are enjoying the sound of chirping birds and pink blossoms. I don’t know about you, but the cold has taken a toll on my skin. I’ve been searching high and low for all the different ways to get fresh and glowing spring skin. And I think I’ve finally found it with Burberry’s Fresh Glow collection.
We all know that a glowing complexion starts with a healthy base, but with the help of a few makeup products, you can get there faster. I’m heavily relying on the products below for my daily dose of radiance, so I wanted to share them with you and explain how you can get fresh and glowing spring skin too.

1 Start with a lightweight base.
On days my skin looks really dull and stressed (mostly after traveling), I rely on Burberry’s Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base to add life back into my face. You can mix this product with a moisturizer or primer for a boost of radiance and it just lights up the entire complexion. I love that it’s not glittery nor is the shimmer too intense. It sits really nicely on the skin without settling into my pores and fine lines. It’s something I go back to effortlessly.

2 Wear a water-infused foundation.
No one wants their skin to look cakey so your best bet is to avoid heavy foundations and layers of powder. The Fresh Glow Gel Sticks from Burberry is great because it’s ultra-light yet provides enough coverage. I love the water-infused formula as it offers moisturizing benefits while illuminating my skin. It’s also super easy to apply. You just need a few swipes, then blend, and go. It’s so subtle that no one will ever know you’re wearing foundation.

3 Don’t shy away from a highlighter.
I recently got a hold of the Fresh Glow Highlighter, which is as beautiful on as it looks in the pan. The lace pattern design is so pretty that I hardly want to touch it, but it’s too good to not use. The powder is finely milled and so smooth. It comes in four shades, which seems promising across all skin tones; however, the one I have is Pink Pearl. It expels a candlelit glow that’s classy and elegant. I love how natural it looks, which is perfect for replicating a spring glow.

4 Try cream eyeshadows.
When I’m going for that super glowy and glossy look, I opt for cream shadows over powder because the finish is far more natural and luminous. The consistency of this one falls right in between sheer and pigmented and adds the perfect amount of light to the inner corner of the eyes and brow bone. It makes me look tireless, bright-eyed, and fresh.

5 Apply a sheer lip color.
To finish off my spring glow, I apply a sheer wash of color on the lips – something that just enhances it because healthy skin looks even better with full, stained lips. I’ll always love my nudes so that’s what I typically reach for.
