I’ve learned through the years that Halloween is a completely different experience after you have kids. It always feels like any other day right up until the last hour when it’s time to get dressed and go. That’s always ended up in a frenzy – and not a good one either. So this year, I’ve decided to take charge and do things a little differently by actually planning!…

We went to the pumpkin patch right on time so Dan and I could get those jack-o-lanterns carved on time and keep them fresh for Halloween. Then, we went costume shopping while the selections were still plentiful – that way Hazel and Capri can be exactly what they wanted to be without having to stop at one shop after another. I don’t really have the luxury of time these days since work never stops, so convenience is always a priority. It’s hectic times like this that I’m really grateful for services that offer full convenience – like Uber!

#hallowinning with Uber!
uberXL is a great option to navigate NYC on Halloween when you have a family like me and need to get in and out of the city. I just got back from a few long trips, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is drive, navigate, and deal with parking. All I want to do is soak up the hours with my girls and indulge in family time. uberXL is convenient and comfortable for all of us – especially when going out a little further! Getting around NYC in general always takes a longer because of the traffic, but I don’t mind on days like this because I use it for fun meaningful conversations and innocent games with my little ones. Plus, I appreciate not having to worry about getting lost.
I also love that I can now schedule rides in advance because it’s the easiest way to navigate NYC on Halloween or even right before. From the pumpkin patch, we easily headed straight for costume shopping, and then back home – and without a wait. I’m really looking forward to using this feature on Halloween because then I can schedule our trick-or-treating session in advance and use that time to help my girls into their costumes and paint their faces. Jumping from place to place during the holidays can often be one of the most inconvenient things about living in the city, so I’m glad to rely on Uber to help navigate NYC on Halloween.
Thank you Uber for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
