Bali is such a magical place. It’s an island full of stunning tropical vistas and unforgettable experiences. Staying at the world-class acclaimed Four Seasons was spectacular. My experiences at two Four Seasons resorts, one in Jimbaran Bay and one in Sayan were exquisite.
Four Seasons Sayan is located near Ubud in the central highlands. Nestled in this intimate setting, nearby Bali’s sacred Ayung River, this resort has spacious areas where trees flourish. All of this nature is accessible within the private villas and suites within the property. Of course, this tranquil setting makes it perfect for a day at their spa. Being served a scrumptious Balinese breakfast spread at our private villa in Four Seasons in Sayan was a piece of heaven.
Overlooking the vast ocean, my stay at Four Seasons Jimbaran was every bit as heavenly as Sayan. Staying at an elegantly decorated and newly renovated Balinese ocean villa on top of a cliff is made even more luxurious with your own personal plunge pool. Dining by the ocean and getting pampered at the Indonesia spa at Four Seasons Jimbaran are noteworthy experiences that are truly worth your while. Flower baths and a breakfast with an ocean view were some of the things I fondly look back on to this very day. Dining at Sundara is also a must-do at this resort. Four Seasons Jimbaran is truly one of my favorite resorts.
We ventured out of these resorts to take in the local sights as well. Jaw dropping is an understatement for the views that greeted us. Tegenungan Waterfall and the otherworldly view at the Tegalalang Rice Terrace are both highlights of my Bali experience. I made sure to pass by Ubud Market to check out the local culinary delicacies and local wares. There was also a day trip to the water temple (Pura Tanah Lot), Pura Taman Ayun, and Saraswati Temple. So many places to see in Bali. This place will truly have anyone in awe.
