We have Easter creeping up on us, and then before we know it, Coachella will already be here! if You’re akin to festival outfits, then you’re probably bemoaning at the thought of fringe, floral crowns, and bejeweled makeup looks. While I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sticking to traditional desert motifs, I’m also a fan of going against the grain – or trying something you haven’t done before. So with that said, I wanted to share a mix of cool Coachella outfit ideas that are anything but basic.…

Breezy Dresses
Dresses are still cool for music festivals. Since it’s usually windy at Coachella, breezy dresses look great against the zephyrs. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box… We all know how popular printed dresses will be, so put a twist on it with a metallic piece, something sequin, or unique embroidered details. Matching Sets
Struggling with novel attire for the ever popular music festival? Matching sets are a surefire way to look unique but still fit in. Although the obvious choice would be a tiny top and skirt combo, don’t underestimate flowy palazzo pants or culottes. I’m loving volume lately, and the bigger the better! Billowy Combos
If all else fails, there’s nothing wrong with resorting to separates. Denim cut offs or skirts are never a bad idea – and a classic Coachella staple! I can’t live without sunglasses, a statement bag, and killer shoes!

Athleisure Infusion

Whether that’s a cool floor grazing track pant, a sports bra under everything, or a simple baseball cap, you’ll stand out in a herd of bohemian queens. Don’t get me wrong. I love bohemian pieces but I think it looks even better when mixed with things that have a little more structure.

Jumpsuits
Tired of dresses? No problem. This is where the jumpsuit comes in handy. Unlike dresses, this is one to where in a statement color or a bold print. Denim or chambray jumpsuits are also a favorite of mine. When donning one pieces, keep it minimal and pair it with neutral accessories like wooden heels or a bucket bag.
