Giambattista Valli Dress Similar
Naturally, I think spring and summer outfits tend to lean more towards a higher comfort level than fall and winter because of the use of lighter, more breathable fabrics. That being said, there is no such thing as too much comfort! I am all for optimizing fashionable and incredibly cozy outfits one can wear all day long. This holds especially true as we continue to spend an increased amount of time in our own homes. Although, you will see me on Instagram in stilettos and ball gowns, you will also see me in practical, everyday looks (those of which I wear more of on a day-to-day basis)! You can still incorporate the recent trends into these outfits too. These are some of the comfortable spring outfit combinations I have been gravitating towards lately.…

1. Cardi + Sweats
When you think of comfort, the first item that probably comes to mind are sweatpants, which to all of our relief, are incredibly in style this year. I love a good tapered pair of sweatpants that I could either lounge around in all day or wear out and about with no guilt. Instead of throwing on an oversized sweatshirt, try swapping it out for a cardigan. This prevents the outfit from looking too frumpy. My last tip to rocking a cardi and sweats is to accessorize well. A minimal pair of earrings and a pair of fresh sneakers go a long way in helping you to look put together!

2. Double Denim
I am always down for a little denim moment. Thanks to recent trends in fashion, oversized fits are in style, which means you can be a lot more comfortable when rocking baggy jeans. I have been loving the relaxed, casual style of straight leg denim and have been finding myself reaching for these pants more often. In this outfit, I decided to double down on the denim and paired it with an oversized chambray button up. To keep it more edgy and street style chic, I actually only buttoned the top few, leaving the bottom half open so it almost looked like a cut out.

3. Statement Sleeves & Sneakers
One of the top spring trends this spring continues to be the statement sleeve. A puff or balloon sleeve adds so much texture and interest to even the most basic of tops, making this a really easy on-trend style to add to your everyday wardrobe. To keep the look casual and relaxed, wear your statement top with some relaxed pants and ditch your heels for a change. Your favorite pair of sneakers are just as effective of a footwear choice. Plus, the feminine top is balanced out by the more
modern, contemporary sneakers.

4. Flowy Dress
If you are seeking chic but comfortable spring outfit combinations, you can never go wrong with a loose dress. It does not matter if you are more of a mini person or a maxi person – either way you know it will be easy to wear all day long. When shopping for new, flowy pieces to add to your collection, you can look for trendsetting details that will ensure your dress looks updated and fresh for the season. For instance, key details like billowy sleeves or cutouts will elevate the piece. Or you could even shop for certain color ways like pastels, which are definitely hot right now.

5. Romper
A close relative to the dress is the romper which is equally comfortable because it combines the best qualities of a dress and a pair of shorts into a singular outfit. This one-piece died down in popularity these last few years but they made a major comeback in 2021 on major runway shows like Dior and Isabel Marant. If you love the ease of the romper but want something with a bit more shape, you could always grab a belt to cinch in the waist.
