It seems so crazy to me that we’re already midway through September, I’m in the midst of NYFW, and fall is arriving in T-10! A new season brings us a slew of new beauty products to try, but I haven’t been entirely on top of my game when it comes to beauty launches this fall. There’s just so much going on at the same time. It’s fortunate that I get to work with a handful of talented makeup artists because I can pick their brains. Plus, backstage preview during fashion week helps a ton. If you’re looking to incorporate a new product into your fall beauty regimen – or just want to stay in the know, scroll on down because I’m sharing my favorite beauty launches worth shopping!…
…
1. Pantene Charcoal Collection
So technically not a fall launch, but I recently started seeing this shampoo in stock at my local Target, which means it’s time for you to pick it up! I reviewed it over the summer here, and want to reiterate how invigorating and deep cleansing it is. If your summer was laden with sun and salty water, then this unique concoction of charcoal extract and Vitamin B5 will purify your scalp and remove dirt so you have clean and healthy hair.
2. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer
Charlotte Tilbury gets makeup right every single time. As an avid user of this makeup line, I was a bit of a skeptic when the Magic Away Concealer was announced. I found the sponge-tipped applicator a little off-putting but ultimately decided to give it a try because after all, it was created by the legendary Charlotte Tilbury. The formula is genius although I still prefer to use my fingers and a sponge to blend it in. I must admit, I was impressed with the buildable, non-cakey coverage that leaves you with fresh, illuminated under eyes.
3. Biore Baking Soda Micellar Water
Not every amazing beauty launch needs to be expensive and this micellar water is the best example of that. If you’re wondering why the addition of baking soda, it’s to help provide a deeper clean for those with acne or combination skin. One swipe removes a hefty amount of makeup and balances out the skin. I don’t recommend wiping this over your eyes. Since I no longer wear a ton of eye makeup these days, I didn’t find that problematic.
4. Nars Climax Mascara
My sad lashes often leave me craving bold volume, but I’ve always found it so difficult to find the right formula. Nars newest Climax Mascara is just what I have been searching for my whole life. I love the creamy whipped texture that latches onto each lash. Not only does it thicken but it lengthens without clumping. I love the fluttery look!
5. Dior Ink Lip Liner
Huge props to Dior for this first ever liquid lip liner. If you’ve ever felt like lip pencils didn’t give you that clean, precise line, you’ll love this product. I’m a fan of the fine tip that lets me get into the finest angles. The deep matte finish is also a huge bonus – so pretty on the lips!
6. Dr. Roebucks’ Tama Healing Mask
Dr. Roebucks is an under-the-radar skincare brand from Australia that you need to know. Think clean, natural ingredients and effective products that aren’t overpriced. I knew I needed this mask as soon as I saw turmeric and manuka honey! It injects a beautiful healthy glow into my skin and fights those pesky blemishes that come to surface when I’m stressed.
7. Glossier Zit Stick
Glossier’s Zit Stick is a great on-the-go treatment for breakouts. I love that it combines both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide to reduce swelling, redness, and size. The antimicrobial tip is also a great safeguard against bacteria, which was my initial concern. Just don’t forget to use sunscreen.
8. Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
Here goes another successful hit by Marianna. If you enjoyed the Jet Lag Mask, you’ll love the clarifying one of the Overtime Mask. It exfoliates so well, smooths out the skin, and just makes you glow. The pumpkin fragrance also reminds me of fall so it came out at the right time.
9. Shiseido Whipped Powder Blush
Finally, a long-lasting cream blush that doesn’t feel heavy or tacky. I was so impressed with the way this mousse texture adhered to my skin. It never once looked dry – just a healthy sheen that isn’t too strong. Shiseido gives us a great selection of color that’s so flattering on the skin. It’s so beautiful that I even use this on the eyes sometimes.
10. Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation
If you’re looking for a matte, full-coverage foundation this fall that’s budget-friendly, you should try this one. I love that it’s water-based, making it super lightweight and helps it stay put. The texture reminded me of a smooth buttercream that blends really easily. The packaging was also a brilliant move by Revlon as it’s easy to dispense and travel with.
11. Christian Louboutin Eyeshadow Cream
About time Mr. Louboutin released an eyeshadow product. This wand isn’t released yet but I am on the lookout. It officially launches online September 15 at Saks and will hit stores by October 1. As you could imagine, the packaging is as beautiful as his glosses and polish. The metallic shades look so promising and perfect for the cold weather season. I can’t wait to see how they perform.
