The no-brainer way to wear bermuda shorts is with tailored pieces such as a button down top or blazer. A quick rifle through Instagram will show you that this is actually how all the cool fashion girls are wearing their bermuda shorts. If you’re not fond of denim bermudas or biker shorts, go for a tailored style that’s as practical in the summer heat as it is effortlessly polished. Team them up with a linen blouse for a seasonably appropriate ensemble.

If you waver towards classier, elegant style, then I can see why you’d think the bermuda shorts trend isn’t for you. However, this year’s modern versions are way more sophisticated and cooler than those of the early aughts. You can easily dress them up with a romantic blouse and strappy heels. High-waisted bermuda shorts also look super chic with crop tops and are instantly punctuated with a pair of stilettos.

With a tee & fun accessories
The simplest way to style bermuda shorts is with your everyday basic tee. With the longer coverage of the shorts, you can really get away with accessories whether it’s crystal-encrusted sandals or a pop of color. Sunglasses are also a great way to play up the look and make it feel less basic. With shoes, I prefer to stick to open-toe sandals to add some height.
