Boots
I’ve always found that little girls’ shoes are one of my favorite items to shop for! But kids grow ridiculously fast, so it doesn’t make sense to splurge on their shoes. That’s why we love shopping for shoes at Walmart. The selections are really trend-forward, like these boots (here and here) that look just like designer brands. They’re durable enough that the girls will be able to wear them through the rain or snow as we move into the colder seasons. This year, I even snagged this cool, snake print boot for myself!

Skirtalls & Dresses
Skirtalls and dresses are one of the most versatile pieces you can buy for girls. They’ll be able to sit comfortably and learn through the remainder of summer. And as the weather gets cooler, you can just add tights to keep them warm. I also love that Walmart’s skirtalls are two-pieces so the tops can be worn separately with jeans or leggings!

Basics
Basics, such as t-shirts, denim, and cardigans, are just as essential for kids as they are for adults. I’m all about the girls being able to mix and match outfits on their own and Walmart just makes it so much easier for us. The kids’ fashion department is chock-full of basics that can be worn year-round. When paired together, they make really chic and affordable back-to-school outfits.

Athleisure
Finally, we also picked up a few athleisure items for those days when the girls just can’t seem to get out of bed. Walmart offers some great loungewear pieces for kids that feel more elevated than your typical PJ’s so they look more appropriate for school. I’m loving this star print top and these biker shorts!
