Shades of Green
Green, especially pistachio, is definitely on the way to being the “It” color of the season. Albeit starting earlier this year, I still see variations of this hue in everything under the sun – blazers, dresses, boots – you name it. While you can don a green handbag or sweater, I suggest going full force in pistachio by trying out a monochromatic look. Head-to-toe green may seem like a lot, but I promise this soft shade is really pleasant and doesn’t end up seeming overwhelming at all.

If anything is for certain, fall and winter are all about serving cozy looks but keeping it as fashionable. Thankfully, one of the emerging trends is all about staying warm but cool – which we love when fashion gets practical.
Colder weather means investing money in good quality outerwear. This year, you will be seeing an influx of quilted outerwear, down-alt parkas, utility trenches, and polar fleece. I am loving this trend because it provides a really nice, casual outerwear alternative for your everyday looks.

Head-to-Toe Leather
All though leather isn’t anything particularly new for this time period, it is getting slightly revamped in terms of how it is being worn. More full leather looks are being worn both on the runway and off. I am talking about a leather blazer paired with an equally edgy midi skirt. For fall, it’s all about going big or going home in terms of leather!

Blazers
What is fall without the blazer? Suiting has been around for ages, but this upcoming season, it’s all about nipping it at the waist. From traditional blazers to oversized styles, belt it accordingly. Chain and crystal styles are what I’m watching for this season. If that’s too much effort on your part, then there are plenty of belted styles you can pick from.
