A tad late getting my bold festival style up on the blog, but as the saying goes, better late than never. I always look forward to Coachella because it’s such a fun mix of fashion, great weather, fun music, comfort foods, and familiar faces. And I love taking advantage of the opportunity to transform myself. I don’t think there’s a better time than music festivals to achieve that. If you’re in need of a little inspo for your next concert or just looking to be more daring in your sartorial choices, look no further. Below is my bold festival style round up!

CHERRY TOMATO
The primary reason for my SoCal trip was to attend Coachella. However, I also decided to explore the LA area a bit more since I’ve always admired the bright graffiti walls of my fellow West Coast bloggers and came across these wings! It was so perfectly fitting since I was decked out in red denim.
Painted walls aside, I always find that music festival style is so diverse, but one thing never changes… It’s booming with color. I decided to blend in but also stand out with this unique red outfit.

Rococo Sand Dress | Marc Jacobs Sneakers (Sold out, Similar)
When in Palm Springs, you must stop by Joshua Tree National Park. The dusty streets, sporadic burst of Joshua trees, and hot sun made me want to meander around freely in this butterfly maxi dress. I loved the flowy, comfortable fit and how it wavered back and forth in the breeze. Sneakers were mandatory because there are so many cactuses that aren’t as innocent as they look!

DESERT STORM
As soon as I saw this Ronny Kobo top, I knew it had a place at Coachella. The stripe pattern reminded me of leaves on palm trees and the color was just perfect for the environment. The puffy sleeves also gave it that bit of edge I needed – and it’s so on trend right now. Plus, I knew it would contrast well with my statement bag from Furla.
The lesson in this look is to never fear when mixing and matching statement pieces together. You never know what kind of masterpiece you’ll end up with. Always take risks and throw caution to the wind when it comes to your style.

The golden sunset in SoCal is everything – and it’s exemplified in this picture perfect moment above. I knew I had to wear something yellow to match the light and this smocked top was the perfect festival piece. As the sun starts to set, the sizzling weather cools down and the breeze sets in. So, I highly recommend keeping a light cover up on hand. I’m still so obsessed with this crochet robe!

TRUE BLUES
Being out in the desert naturally makes me want to change up my style from polished and edgy to bright and bohemian, then again to something casual and cool. And I did it in an overall dress and sports bra mash up. Classic athleisure vibes. And when you need a pop of color to brighten things up, reach for blush pink. No matter how overdone, this color never gets old.
