bringing out my floaty side in pretty pleats
MFW Part 2 / Look 2: Valentina Shah Tuxedo Jacket | Loyd/Ford High Low Dress | Maison Margiela Boots | Boxy Buckle Bag (All styles sold out in white, Similar) Gucci Belt
I‘m closing out my Italian fashion days with the second part of my Milan Fashion Week series. Today’s recap will cover the last of my outfits as well as highlights from my final Milan show. And one of my favorite pieces in all of MFW was this hi-lo pleated dress. If you’ve been following my fashion week series, you probably noticed that I have a thing for pleats. There was no better way to play up the proportions than with this tuxedo blazer and Gucci belt, which I finally caved into after months of thinking it over. No regrets!…

Backstage at Tommy Hilfiger
maybe she’s born with it…
I always love standing and observing the crazy action that occurs backstage. Seeing the Maybelline team in action was such a realization of all the work that goes into making something truly amazing and awe-inspiring happen.

After backstage, it was time for the real thing so I headed forward for the runway! I feel so honored and humbled to be able to finish MFW off at the Tommy Hilfiger TommyNow show. This collection is unique because it displays the Tommy x Gigi collection as well as some Spring 2018 pieces for guys and girls.
The collection was so symbolic of the American dream, which the brand always illustrates flawlessly. I felt a sense of pride rush in as I saw the models walking off what seemed like a track! Go team! I also always love seeing the Hadid sisters walk together – forever stunning!

MFW Part 2 / Look 2: Pink Shearling Jacket Similar | Silk Pink Blouse Similar | Pleated Pink Skirt Similar | Illesteva Sunglasses | Mark Cross Mini Box Bag (Sold out in Green, available in Pink) | Pink Glitter Boots Similar
And last, we have a monochromatic pink look with a touch of green. If you didn’t notice my pleats obsession before, I bet you do now! This shearling coat kept me warm in Milan’s nearly unbearable temperatures. Since I was already at it with the textures, I thought why not add more – so then came in the box bag and glittery boots!
